Our monthly quiz Kvizdarije is going intenational!
After the success we had with our capital quiz, Zadar Open, we have decided to offer our monthly quiz Kvizdarije in English, and brand it as QuiZDiary for international market. It marks our third international endavour, after the aforementioned Zadar Open, and KviZD Summer league. But what's so special about this quiz, you may ask?
Starting in 2019, Kvizdarije established itself as the most played quiz in Croatia with players from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Slovenia, as well as Croatian players in UK and Netherlands joining. It is a general knowledge quiz consisting of 121 questions, divided into 11 categories with 11 questions each. Categories include Art, Music&Scene, Literature, Film&TV-series, History, Lifestyle, World, Entertainment, Nature, Sport, and Society.
So other than having more categories than others, what do we do differently? Well, for starters, besides counting the overall results, we also count the results of every category, and award to the best three in every category respectively. That means that players who are perhaps not great overall, but excel at specific topic, can also showcase their knowledge. Eight best results out of 11 rounds are counted for the score, and finally, players who finish top three (both overall and in every category) will receive medals at Mirko Miočić Memorial in Zadar (or by mail if they are unable to attend). Participation fee per quiz is €3.50.
